Above the Line Performance has been a powerful influence on my life; on my physical wellness, mental wellness, spiritual wellness and in general the quality of life I enjoy.  For me, it has made a difference as a professional, as a Principal, as a husband, and as a father.  Above the Line Performance training is a phenomenal approach for anyone who attends.   My staff is knocking down my door to be a part of the training because of what they've heard.  For me, that is really refreshing.  As far as what's going on in school as a result of this training, there's been a definite shift in our school's morale; the way teachers are addressing students, the way teachers are addressing each other and the way teachers are just willing to buy into this fact that we're a team together and we're working together.  This training has been a powerful part of the positive climate and environment that we've produced at East Hartford Middle School.

I was on fire when I got back to my class. I thought the workshop was excellent. It allowed me to reflect not only on my professional life but my personal life as well. I have been using many of your tools with my friends and family members too. Thanks so much for sharing your special gifts. This workshop has given me the tools I need to get back to being the teacher I want to be.

I attended the 2-day Above the Line Performance workshop. It was the best workshop I've ever attended (both professionally and personally).

I just want to thank you again for giving me the opportunity to attend the 2-day workshop entitled “Above the Line Performance.  Just to let you know, I can’t even call the 2 days a “workshop.”  It was more of a “personal life changing experience.”  So often teachers go to workshops, where we learn things to do for our students and classrooms.  This experience was so much more.  It helped us to examine ourselves first and how to be a better person, family member, and teacher.  It stressed the importance of looking and caring for ourselves, which then carries on to other areas of our lives.  The presenters were fantastic.  They were supportive and knowledgeable.  The activities were engaging, enlightening and very rewarding.  The 2 days flew by. I wish I could go back for more.

In the 10 years I have worked in our middle school, I haven’t seen or heard of any professional development program have this much positive effect on our staff and their work with students as Above the Line Performance.

This is one of the best workshops and experiences I ever had.  I used it with my family and realized they need to attend this workshop.  I can’t wait for the follow-up sessions.
